Our purpose

In 2009 Ranch Horse Academy founder Zach Hedberg started showing Ranch Horses and has been addicted to the game ever since.  In his opinion Versatility Ranch Horses are the ultimate athlete. His goals have changed over the years but his passion to build the best versatility horses and help educate as many people as possible has not.

 We named our program Ranch Horse Academy for a reason. Whether you are simply interested, brand new or a seasoned amateur, we will provide insights from start to finish via video, text, and interviews.  We will also have an engaging community section for conversations and questions and on ranchhorseacademy.com.

Here at Ranch Horse Academy our goal is to provide our members with access to everything from training fundamentals and confidence builders to high end Ranch Horse show tips, rules and everything in between on your path to your Versatility Ranch Horse goals. 

We will explore the ranch horse classes available- explain the goals and steps to be successful along with what to know before you show, the judge’s perspective, working outside the arena and ranch horse health.

Our trainers are well versed, passionate about their work and goals and successful.  They are here to grow your potential -whether you are a green rider, amateur showman, wanting to teach a green horse, grow your own confidence or just looking to develop a well trained ranch horse.

It is our hope that our members will gain the knowledge and growth they are looking for in terms of training, showing, maintaining and developing an understanding of everything Ranch Horse.
